This is a natural eroded rock named "The Sphinx".

It is hard to reach the angle to see it's resemblance with the famous egiptian Sphinx.

There are striking similarities between the Sphinx and your postcard shot. The differences can perhaps be easily forgiven because one is natural and the other combined natural and manmade (The Sphinx).

Great effort. The sky is a tad light and perhaps a minor adjustment with an editor would add a bit of zing to the clouds and sky.

Thank you Selvin!

You are right the sky doesn't look very well, but I think the matter is the elevation of the place - more than 7,500 feet (about 2200 m) and I had no UV filter. Or is something else.:?

I can also see the resemblance clearly. Beautiful rock!

Personally, I don't see the resemblance but I haven't seen the whole rock formation.

Regarding the exposure, the clouds are blown out. This tells me the the metering system was taking its reading from the rock formation. Is is possible you had the camera set for spot metering. If that was the case, matrix metering might have given better results. The other fix would be the use of two split neutral density filters stacked. Rotate the first to darken the upper left. Rotate the second to darken the upper right.
