Some may recognize the first shot, I posted it awhile back in the landscape forum.

Ok, maybe my lack of class is showing but I really like the second one, but it was the sales pitch that made it!

While the first shot is vey beautiful, I have to agree with Fofa, the second is a winner.

Good work

Well, I'm going in the opposite direction. I like the first one. The second says nothing to me. The photograph is uninteresting. There is no subject unless you want to count the snow. Also, I don't care for the caption, specifically the reference to the runaway dog.

That's how I see it.

Cal

The first shot is beautiful. I love sunrises and sunsets. The caption in the second picture apeals to my weird sense of humor.

Geez Cal tell me how you really feel!:blah: I actuall agree with you on the second picture and was suprised anyone actually liked it! I did take the shot because it was so bleak looking, to show the kids when I got home how flat and snowy it was. I just put it here as an afterthought and to contrast what I thought was the nicer picture. Anyway, thanks for the comments!

Thanks for looking and the complimanets fofa, selvin, and yesterday! Glad you liked them.

I have to say the first is my favorite but I also like the second, also. The first speaks of warmth to me, so maybe I'm biased, as I sit and look at -20 on the outside thermometer!
