Awesome Walter! Our forefathers were a pretty rugged bunch, sometimes I think we have it to easy for our own good now days!

Very good timingto include thecontribution of the late afternoon or early morning??sun for a dazzling effect, as Vanessa put above. Actually, one cannot help but consider the great feats of those people... I wish I had many amazing and real stories to relate my grandchildren, like they did!!

Yes, it was taken in the bright late afternoon sun. BTW, my wife's uncle has a wagon and a mule team. Each year, he joins a group on a trail ride through various parts of the state. Not my cup of tea.
