Nice work, light effectively differentiates the two areas.

I believe the second shot qualifies as an optical illusion.

Nice shots but I think you white balance is off. If it is set for incandescent or tungsten, when shooting outdoors, it will render a bluie cast to the photo.

Is this the side of a building or a display at a siding dealer?

Hi

Sometimes I save only the .jpegs (I don´t remember how the RAW was)

I "shot" it at Auto, with Canon 30D, so it was auto WB. I took the pictures outside; down by Gotha River, in an industrial area.

(A guard came up to me and wondered what is was doing. I explained to him that I like to photograph abstract forms when I find them in reality and he said it was ok - there were other kinds of building material lying around also - of course I took photos of it all)

Well, the location by the river may explain the bluish cast...

I think these ........ (I don´t know the word in english) are used as isolation to save electricity
