Is that snow? Are those Hosta leaves? OK, I give up, how did you do it?

I like the photo, nice work!

LOL Thank you!!! I was puzzled as to what to shoot....then I remembered.
Last summer I put plaster of paris on hosta leaves (back sides) and I made lots, have some hanging on walls, some hosta, some sycamore, and even huge elephant ears.

Later I made molds from them in silicone, so I can cast them in concrete!

These are the plaster ones, and I put them in 3 pounds of sugar! How sweet it is!!

Very nicely done. I like it. The exposure is just about perfect.

Thank you, Cal....I was rather pleased with it. I may frame it...and put it next to the actual leaves....

Wow, the textures blend very well together and when added to a nice composition you have a remakable shot.

Well done, great textures and shadow. Ive never seen leaves like those, they look like a great macro subject.

Best regards,

Thank you!

Max, surely you have hosta's in your are? A very common plant. Or do you mean the plaster of paris copies? Very easy to do of any leaf....if anybody wants to make plaster of paris leaves...
