Welcome to the forum!!!

I really like this photo...it really captures the cold, snowy winter, and it certainly looks like you've had a bit of snow!!!!

However, the light is blue and the snow is very dark, so I'm not really seeing the white on white. But, I'm not sure it would be so pleasing to my eye with the contrast any less.

So, in my own wafflling way...I love the photo, but not sure it meets the challenge.

Please continue to participate, I am looking forward to seeing more of your work.

I have to agree with Vanessa's (vsch1) comments. I am curious what object behind and to the right of the light is. Is that an animal, something laying in the snow, or part of the lamp post?

Thanks for the comments. As I have discoverd, white LED lights do not photograph white, even with the colour temp all the way down to 2500K. I think if I shot earlier in the evening when there was still some available light, I could have had more of the white from the snow pop out. The objects behind the light (there is one visible through the light as well) are the remnants of last summers roses. The rest of the bush is under the snow. The bush in the background is also a rose, but much larger.

Wow! You really got some snow.

Although, it's not enough white per the "judges", I still like it.
