My only complaint about this shot is the shallow depth of field. Only the front half of the flower is in focus. You need to use a smaller aperture (larger f-stop) to get better DOF. Generally f16 or smaller shoud give you much better results.

Thank you Cal. I am still practicing with this macro stuff. I think that everyone has responded well to my dilemma with this picture and others I have posted. Just as soon as I can, I will try shooting with the smaller aperture.

Love the composition but to echo Cal, DOF needs a tad of work.
