Nice work, Donna. The angle you have chosen shows features of the benches and fence as well as a broader view of the structure.

Most interesting, Donna. Seems to me like an instance when the architect got carried away. I keep thinking what kind of damage a guy could do with a baseball bat. Of course, New Yorkers wouldn't have such thoughts, right?

Seems that way...New York was a surprisingly friendly city. I am from the country and found them open and helpful. Central park was awesome. Would like to go back in the spring sometime, or anytime it wasn't so cold! Donna

What about skateboarders trying to skate on the bench seat? Or don't they have skateboards in NYC??

Wonderful, Donna. I remember sitting on those benches when we went a few years ago.

Yes, you will have to go back in Spring. My one trip there was in April and the flowers were all blooming. It was beautiful. And, like you, we had a very friendly experience there. Well, except for the $13 hamburger, coke and fry my son and I shared because that was all I would pay for a hamburger at McDonalds.:-) They were friendly. I just couldn't believe how much it was.
