This is one of the oddest looking buildings I have ever seen!!

Very odd indeed! But, also very interesting.

Where is this and what is the building used for - is it a church or place of worship?

Excellent shots. I was trying to come up with a name for the architectural theme of this building but the only thing that comes to mind is abstract modern art. If you unwrapped the walls of the building, you would have a very nice mosaic mural!
