We went into Boston today.First warm day in a long time. Didn't even have to bring a heavy coat. Although, by the time we were at the church, it was starting to cool down and get windy.

Another view of the same side of the church. We never made it around to the front side. It was just getting too cold too fast and we still had to walk to the train. Wish the reflecting pool had been running. Guess I'll have to wait for much warmer weather.

Like the close-up. I've seen several Christian Science buildings in various cities and they all were impressive -- and typically different in architecture from most other churches.

We have walked around this building and it certainly is impressive...it always amazes me that a religious organization could have such a huge piece of prime real estate in Boston.

I have always wated to photograph the building, not sure i could do it justice, but you have certainly done a great job.

Thanks, Walter and vsch1. I had first seen the building from the other side when we were on the bus. But, it brought us around to this side to the next stop and it was getting too cold to walk all the way to the side I'd seen. So, I settled for this side.

It truly was an amazing building. So much detail. I couldn't decide what to zoom in on.
