I love to gaze out of this window when I visit this building at work. The entire window has got to be 10 feet across and is part of an original Carnegie Library.

Any suggestions on composition or technical aspects are appreciated as always.

I'm getting hooked on this shoot out forum...

Well done on a difficult shot. I like the composition. Interesting building. I'll have to visit next time there (where is it in the city?).

Thanks; I was thinking about bringing out the woodwork a little more in Photoshop, but I decided to leave it alone.

This is on the campus of North Central College in Naperville, IL - a western suburb of Chicago.

It's no longer the library, it houses computer science and the IT department.

Beautiful shot. I like it just the way it is. I wouldn't change a thing.

Lapstrake,

This shot just grabs me by the neck and says, "Look at me!".

A most unusual perspective.

Thanks for sharing.

Very nice. I love how you captured the top of the column in the center of the window cutout. My daughter lives right near there.
