A very interesting shot. If that is the passenger side mirror, the driver can't see anything useful because the mirror has been rotated for the photo. If it is the driver side mirror, either the photo has been reversed or this is a car that is driven from the right side.

My analysis of the image is probably all wrong, however some interesting shots can be had using the side mirror of a car.

Regarding the challenge, the shot is obviously taken from inside the car and some of the window frame is visible so it qualifies.

Great idea for the photo. Well executed. The fun thing about this forum is to see everyone's ideas. Makes you think.

This is wierd. I posted a reply to this last night and this morning, it was gone.

Anyway, my first assumption was correct. It is the passenger side mirror rotated so that the camera can see it but "blinding" the driver on that side:lol:.

Anyway, cool idea. You can do some very interesting photography using car windows and mirrors for framing. I once saw a photo looking in one car window, and out the opposite window at the street scene beyond. I always wanted to try that but it means you have to park the car in the middle of the street for the photo. Not a real safe thing to do.
