I was at a fishing tackle show in Grand Rapids (Michigan, USA) at the DeVos Center and found some windows behind a couple of boat vendors. Completely forgot about the current challenge when the building, the crane, and the river caught my attention.

One of the photos made me think a bit. I ended up cropping for two different pictures and no other digital darkroom work was attempted.

After that attempt I cropped a bit more and came up with my second submission.

As I said in my email, welcome to the forum.

The second photo is, by far, the better in my opinion. There is less clutter to compete with the main subject matter.

I agree with Cal, the second phto is much better. Unfortunately you've got the post competing with the crane for attention.
