Here are a couple closeups of an antique fire truck I found on Hayden Island on the Columbia River just north of Portland.

The first is the side of the cab with the logo. The second is one of the wheels.

Scanned 35mm slides. Nikon N70, Fujuchrome Velvia 50.

Nice shot of the logo, I really like the way the letters stand out!!

What year is the truck? do you have a shot of the whole thing??

Vanessa, you guessed correctly about the reflection. If your eyes were sharp enough to catch then you probably also noticed that the photo is rotated 90 degrees. The fire station personnel were not considerate enough to park the truck with the Mack logo oiented properly!

I don't know the exact vintage of this truck but I think it is early 40s. Here is a full shot of the truck.
