In the warehouse area that I take pictures, there is a location that is rather run down. I have taken pictures before of this place, but only seen the firetruck through dense brush. A few weeks ago, I traveled down there to see all the brush has died and the truck, was visible.

And here is a close up of the truck:

What a great find, especially in a familiar place. The truck is fantastic and certainly becomes the focal point of the photo. Nice.

Nice shot. It is a shame that that old fire truck is just sitting there rotting away. Hopefully someone will find it and try to restore it.

Thanks everybody! Yeah, there are several vehicles near this that are just rotting away. This place is so vast, I might discover something new my next visit. :-)

Outstanding composition. That old building intrigues me. Just today, I was reading an article in "Popular Photography" (I think!) about sneaking (breaking) into old abandoned buildings and shooting pictures. The possibilities are endless (if you don't get caught). The author used old abandoned assylums and mental hospitals as an example. Many years ago, when I lived in Idaho Falls, there was an old abandoned sugar mill that I discreetly explored a couple times. I found a back way in. At the time, the thought of taking pictures never occurred to me. Now the opportunity is lost. I'll have to keep my eyes open.
