These were taken last fall. Too cold and wet to be lying on the ground right now! And, snow forecasted for tomorrow. Will winter never end! Not as clear as I'd like them to be, but I'd only had my camera about a month and was still learning it. (And, still am!)

Great shots, Nhmom. Although I don't like mushrooms to eat, I love these closeups. I should clarify that. I don't totally dislike mushrooms. If I have a slice of pizza that has mushrooms and olives on it and some of them fall off, I won't put them back on! Occasionally I help them fall off!

As far as learning the camera goes, that is an ongoing, never ending task. I am still learning things about my D100 and probably always will. Technologically, todays digital cameras are so complex, it is a wonder anyone can master them. I had my old fully manual Minolta SRT101A for about 30 years. When I finally got rid of it, I was still learning. A lot of the learning is not the technology but shooting the picture. The camera is just a tool. It is the person behind the viewfinder that makes the picture.

That's the end of this lesson in camera philosophy. Thank you for attending.
