Just a suggestion, if the lower end of venetian blind is also in frame.Mey be it could look much better.What do you think.Otherwise it is a nice shot

I wanted that, but I just couldn't get it the way I wanted it. It's a rather tall window and in order to get top and bottom, I would've had to give up the little peek of sky and trees. In hindsight, I should've just left the top of the blinds out of the frame as opposed to having the top but no bottom. Thanks for the comments.

Nice idea. In keeping with the discussion in progress, if you make sure all the slats of the blind are oriented the same (they are not in this photo), then you should be able to adjust the angle of the slats so that you get a full outside view from any shooting position. You should be able to position the camera either lower or further away or both and get a good perspective on the window with the outside view.

Something to play around with.
