Boy, that sure makes that cue tip look big! Great idea. You might try playing with depth of field to see what kind of variations on this shot you can get.

That's what I thought too Cal, like it's really coming at you. I was pleased with how it came out. I did try a few different shots with more DOF, but didn't like them. I liked how this one really made you focus on the tip. I also tried one with more of the pool cue than just the tip showing, but didn't like those as much either. Kinda hard to shoot, cue in one hand, camera on the pool table on 2 second timer reaching around with the other hand focusing, all the while trying to hold still. I need an assistant!

Has a 3D effect.Just moved my head ,Felt as if it is going to blow my nose in early moroning.Who needs a bleeding nose

Nice. The angle is perfect, so we can see the tip but none of the stick.

Digital camera in the corner pocket.

I liked how it came out with the tip too, but I'm not quite that frustrated with my cam... yet.
