Bobbert,

In general, well done with the close up isolating one of the more intimate pieces of our lives.

A few picky points which in no way detracts from your work. On my screen the exposure seems a tad overdone. You may be able to fix that quite easily in a photo editor. Personally I might not have cropped the photo in the same manner. The male hand is showing but not the female. For a balanced image both hands showing might have been better.

Please remember these are personal observations.

Aloha

Thanks for the comments, much appreciated.

I did play withcontrast and brightness, but I guess I overdidit. Always good to have an objective critical eye.

Most of the cropping was in camera. I did crop out a distracting element on the right, but I was sitting at the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition on a low camping stool and just snapping anything interesting. I agree I'd like to see the other hand, but alas it isn't there.

I like it but I don't like it?? I like the idea but I don't like the angle. A more oblique view either from the front or the rear would, I think, convey the message of love and companionship much more. However, considering the manner in which you were shooting that day, the alternate views were probably not possible.

Hm, I like it. It is... unusual! And that's what the challenge is about I would probably never take such a photo and haven't done before. Looks ok on my CRT screen also.
