Cal, this is a most interesting shot. The shadows from the columns really play tricks with your perception. Have to look close to figure it out. Very nice.

Yeah! This is stretching things a bit. However, it is a somewhat unusual view of the bench. Generally, when you see photos of park benches, they are shot straight on.
