This was a particularly ill tempered goose in Medocino CA. I happened to catch her eyeing her victims from behind the fence. As the unsuspecting tourist would near the goose and pass by the open slat she would burst her head through the opening and bite at the poor pedestrian without mercy. I have to admit it was harlarious to watch all of this unfold from the safety of the other side of the street.
I did desaturate the fence and the background for effect. I appologize if this bends the rules of the forum.

Enjoy,
Steve

That goose really looks menacing!
I think the framing in the first one helps convey the temperment of the animal - without the frame, it's just a normal goose.

I think the framining works very well in both shots. I agree, the goose looks menacing in the first shot. In the second, it looks like he has his head stuck in the fence!

Good work.

Smac,

I think you got winners in both cases. With perhaps the first shot getting the nod because of the belligerence (s)he exudes.

I like em both.

Aloha

Steve, That is one menacing looking goose. I don't think I've ever seen a photo of one baring their teeth. Yikes!

Steve...again the goose makes me laugh. I think you had posted another shot of it somewhere else....I enjoy you bringing it back. The visual you present in your story gives us all a chuckle.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"Thanks for sharing.
