Actually I live 2 miles from touchdown at the local airport. Usually there is a Southwest plane flying overhead but the last few days the traffic is landing in a different pattern. I want to try to capture a shot with a plane before the roof goes on and when they return to the normal landing pattern - just over my chimney. You might think living this close to a decent sized airport would be horrendus but most people really don't even notice the planes anymore. They've gotten pretty quiet and it's amazing that they're up there.
