Wonderful job. The lines here really seem to beckon towards the city.

Aloha

what caught my eye was the implied curved line along the top of the skyscrapers. maybe i've been looking at too many graphs?

Nice work. This image has alot to look at and the walkway really pulls us to the city, as do the lights along the walkway.

I agree with all that has been said except for the good "doctor". I don't see a curved line in the tops of the buildings.

Beautiful night shot. Your white balance is spot on. Too many night shots have an orange appearance due to the wrong WB. No problem here, however.

Cal, the curve i was referring to was the type you'd see in a graph of an exponential function. I have made a little ps to show you what i saw when i first looked at this shot.

my experience with graphs and the like is extensive to say the least. this isn't something i think a lot of people would see, just people who have been indoctrinated into thinking a certain way.

Also, I see converting angles of the walk way to the bottom right... making some very nice lines.

Cheers guys... thanks for the great feedback... the original NEF pic is so clear you can see through the portholes and into the cabins of the boats moored in the river.

A good clear night and a solid tripod will do that... I have another I took that night.. will post that up real soon.
