Vandertramps,

The shot probably qualifies but doesn't a lot else going for it. The car lights adds a tad of interest but the scenery is fairly bland and the speed of the car cannot easily be determined by the shot.

Believe it or not, i completely agree with you regarding the blandness. I was bored last night so i thought i'd take some nighttime test shots.

Maybe just cropping out the right side of the photo would give it more. It took me a few times looking at it to see the "fire" in the road. That's one of our favorite movies.

The shot is overexposed a bit as evidenced by the halos of color around the traffic signals. I didn't see the headlight trace of the car until I studied the photo for awhile. I initially thought that was light reflecting off a wet street.

I agree that artistically the shot doesn't have much going for it. Now, if you had a streaker running through............
