The first one doesn't look like it's in too bad of condition, but the second is far more interesting. This architecture looks remarkably similar to many of the homes in the mountains where I grew up. Particularly catching my eye are the wringer type washer tub that can be seen through the open front door, and the room that has been added on the left side. Hard to tell from the distance of the shot, but I'd bet that the add-on room was used for firewood storage and/or a smoke house. My grandfather was always sticking rooms of this sort onto just about any building on his property for uses as varied as the two aforementioned, but also chicken coop, Feed storage for livestock, and general farm storage. With that vast expanse of a tin roof, think of how loud that house would be in a hard rain.

Very interesting shots well executed.
