These may not technically qualify for the challenge since they are scans of photos taken before I was born, but I think they are remarkable photos of a house hit twice in the same day by different tornados. They were taken in 1938 by my great grandmother. The first is taken after a tornado hit about 8:00 in the morning.

The second was taken about 4:30 in the afternoon after a second tornado wiped the home out. Miraculously, no one was injured.

Your great grandmother captured a but of history there. The photos scanned very well considering the age. Is the border part of the original photo or did you add it? If you added it, I don't care for it very much. It is too busy.

The border was part of the original photo. Very common with pics from that time period I have worked with.

Great photos. Seems like your greatgrandmother passed down the photography bug.

A neat bit of history there. How often does a tornado hit the same place in several years, much less in the same day!
