Located in the Yankee Boy Basin of the San Juans (Colorado) the Atlas Millproduced silver and gold from the Atlas Mine from the 1890s until the 1920s.

I know this isnot a closeup view, but I wanted to show the whole look of the hill it sits on.

Thanks for looking.

Do you have any closeup shots. This shot is interesting and informative but the detail doesn't show up. It appears that much of the structure has collapsed and fallen down the hill.

No darn it I don't have anything closer....and yes it is a bit collapsed, but then it's pretty old. I don't even know what made me just take this one shot of it....with the opportunity there to take more.

Maybe a crop would pull it closer. I'd love to see the details.

We will be by this mill late July and I plan on taking a closer shot of the building and will repost it. There are so many of these old mines/mills in the San Juans of Colorado. They have a history.......so look in late July or August for a repost hopefully of a better view. Thanks for looking.
