A little different take on the old buildings theme. This is the elephant house at the Little Rock zoo, built during the Depression by the WPA. For decades it was a disgrace with the zoo's two elephants having only about a 20 X 20 foot concrete exercise area in which they could go outside.

Fortunately, in recent years, it has been somewhat renovated as a larger exercise area added, including grassland that is rotated to make sure there is at least some green area in their exercise yard.
