I'm back...but still unpacking here in So. Calif. So, I'm submitting these 2 archive shots taken a couple of years ago in the Dallas area. They remind me of summer camp when we would gather at the end of each day while the cornetist played "Taps". We would sing these words along with the horn:

"Day is done
Gone the sun
...from the lake
...from the hills
...from the sky
All is well, safely rest
God is neigh"

WalterC,Nice set of sunrays.But I am just wondering the sky colour in 1st image is very unusal .Great shot

Great shots, as usual, Walter. I really like #2. The pattern of the rays almost suggests a great announcement.

I like them both, Walter but I wonder about the colors in the first one. It looks like it has been colorized. If so, not allowed.

As I recall, I was trying to bring more detail out of the shadows on the far bank. Probably wound up adjusting some hues as well.
