After enduring a horrid night of howling wind and blowing sand I awoke to this wonderful "Sandrise". With so much dust and sand in the air it gave this mornings sunrise unique "rays".

Fantastic...those rays are sideways due to the rising sun..very cool.

Great capture. How long did it take to get the sand out of your camera and to get your sensor cleat?!!

Not Palmdale, it was taken from Stovepipe Wells, Death Valley.

No sensor to clean Cal...it was taken with a Canon A640 P&S. Just wipe it off and put back in pocket! :-) (yes I know they have one but they are sealed pretty well)
