I have been looking for some sunrays since the challenge. The sun, it self, has been a little hard to find lately. I found a few rays this weekend, though they are not as profound as I had hoped for.

Hi Philby. Beautiful scene but not very sharp. I know it is difficult to get good focus when shooting toward the bright sun but others have succeeded so you know it can be done.

Philby,

The overall impact of the shot is quite good. As Cal pointed out the focussing needs a tad of adjustment but he is correct it is not easy to focus accurately under these conditions.

I think that a large part of the softness is due to atmospheric conditions. There was a lot of mist in the air. There is a rain line on the horizon. The focus point was set on the structure in the foreground and the aperture set to f11.
