I wasn't going to post this picture at all because of all the distracting objects.

But why not? I liked the reflection of the trees in the water.

Thank God you have posted it finally.Distracting elements are there but well within the control.reflection of course makes up for other sortcoming.Overall a nice image.thanks for sharing

The reflections are what turn this from a routine shot to a very nice one.

Very well done. The reflections and symmetry are great. The trees and reflections actually frame the rest of the scene.
