I chose the Monochrome setting in the RAW converter. Then used a contrast maskin photoshop using aliner curves adjustment from the RAW converter as one of the layers.

This is a case where I prefer the color to the BW. The BW conversion is very sharp and has good contrast. It is just a case of me being born on a farm in South Dakota and loving to see the tractors working in the fields and hearing the "putt-putt" sound of the old 2-cylinder JD tractors. In those days you could tell the JD tractors by the sound and color and the other makes by the color! In my opinion, John Deere Tractors need to be green, not gray!

Nice pictures Philby. Was this a parade or some kind of celebration?

This shot reminded me that I saw a small tractor in front of an antique store just outside Phoenix. I'll go by there this morning so I will see if I can get another shot of it.
