It is interesting how the BW shows a large number of details that are not visible in the color photo. It must be a very dirty lens in PS! Which reminds me, when was the last time you changed the oil in your hard drive?

I have used the minus values in channel mixer but I really don't understand them. I would think 0% green would mean no green in the image at all. If that is the case what does -200% mean? If 0% does not mean no green, then what does it mean? Maybe some of you experts can enlighten us on the subject.

gerafix,

Thanks for enlightening us about the extra details visible in monochrome but not color.

Good job. Aloha

Hehe, thank you.
Well, the way I understand it is that it modifies the output channel by mixing present source channels. the RGB are greyscale images representing the tonal values of the colour image. so +200% turns that channel completely white, while -200% turns it completely black. and then there is the constant value, which adds more white or black to the output channel.
