This is a very interesting shot. Just one technical question -- I would expect the face behind the pottery to be in deeper shadow than it is. Did you do something special to make it properly illuminated?

Thank you, and no, I didn't even use fill flash because I didn't want to blow out the reflections in the mask. It was taken with a white wall background, and the inside of the mask is white as well, so reflections off those helped I suppose.
