This colliery is now closed, they sited this Dram so as to remind people that there was a deep minehere.

Very nice B&W work. I went to a slate mine tour in Wales (I'll have to dig the brochure for the name of the place) and outside the main entrance they also had a couple of cars similar to these filled with slate (pre cut for roofing). BTW, the tour was very cool!

Nice conversion. I am trying to relate to the term "Dram" as used in this context but am having difficulty with it. Can relate it to a US term I would know?
