Sepia toning , my fevorite, But one thing I must say, whenever I used my cam. inbuilt sepia tone conversion.I never liked it .B'coz it is too deep and dark. I prefer to use Paint.NET for conversion
You have done a commandable job.Great work

Thanks, mcliu. I never, ever use the camera's built in sepia or B&W features. I figure that I can always obtain such effects through software and still have the colored version. I'm not too big on PS so I tendto do the majority of theediting jobsin Picasa, whichI find suitable for most touch-ups (except for thesharpening feature, which gives you very little control over).

Nice shots. My D100 doesn't have BW or Sepia and I am glad for the same reasons you mention. I have learned, in the past two weeks, how to do a much better job. My Minolta S414 has both modes but I never use them.

Thanks for participating.

Cal

Thanks, Cal.Browsing throughmy photos trying to find the ones that I think are worth sharing, I realize that most images do not work well in monochrome (either sepia or B&W). So, it's been challenging selecting good images to be converted.
