These two individual portraits are taken from the same master photo, taken by my son. First, my wife, who was amused at just how little distance the apple falls as her son and husband began shooting at each other.

Torjansoc,

Both shots are familiar candid scenes that qualify for the challenge.

I was hoping for a slightly more deliberate setting in which the subjects would have an opportunity to exhibit some emotion, attitude etc. Your second shot cannot do this because you are hidden from view behind the viewfinder. The first shot of Brenda similing because it was taken on the fly had limited opportunities to really gives us insight about Brenda.

The fault is not yours my friend but in the relatively generous parameters given for the challenge.

Nonetheless, despite their shortcomings the shots do qualify for the challenge.
