Red light or flashing light like a strap on for walking/riding a bike a night?
Or the red safety light on a flash light?

I'm thoroughly confused now. "captures gold" (I'm assuming the light), smaller than a lampshade and could be than a comb, could be used in every room, could bea security device.

A lock on a window?

Is it in most people's households?

Nhmom and Fofa, Hi, you are very very close and on the right track."light"

I should have said in my earlier hint that it is definitely smaller than a lampshade. It could be the same size of a combor smaller than a decorative comb depending on the style.

I wished that I could have taken a better picture in the beginning. What are the best ways to photograph light?

Mcliu, Hi, I was giving in when Nhmom guessed the photo. I do not want you to lose all of your fingernails.
