Looks like a push button of some kind. As I search my mind (in between the cobwebs) I am sure I have seen something like that before but I can't place it.

I can't remember exactly, but I think I bought these at home depot, but it could have been lowes.

I'm not sure of the name. Is it those things you put under furniture? To make it easier to move heavier pieces of furniture around.
