I love seeing bright colorful kites flying in the wind. The Oregon coast is a favorite spot for kite fliers in this part of the country. I have tried photographing kites at the beach but none turned out very good. I think I was using the wrong lens.

Great shot.

Very nice. I also like photographing the kites at Breton's Point in Newport, RI. Usually tons of kites to choose from. Haven't been since I got my new zoom. Will have to go when I get my camera back.
