I took a series of photos at a local wildlife refuge I frequent during the winter months. This is one of them silhouetting some Snow geese and a Red-tailed hawk sitting in a tree.

smac, one after another, you have just stunned me. Thsi one even the word fails. Very beautiful. Looks like Japnese painting to me

That is just beautiful. The mist, the huge crimson sun, the tree silhouettesand the birds all combine into a stunning picture.

A stunning shot. I agree with mcliu that it has a very Eastern feel to it. Taoist art (and its Zen derivative) emphasizes the unity of nature, and this photo has a very complete feel to it. Wonderful job, Steve.
