This was taken in December after we'd had a storm and the sky was starting to clear.

Sorry for going to the archives, but I'm limited to my film SLR and I've borrowed a friends digital p&s that I'm still trying to figure out. I saw this when I was looking for a photo for something else and thought it fit the backlit/silhouette category.

Thanks, yesterday. Yes, I really like the brightness of the blue sky against the white/gray clouds.

Thanks flutelady and Tullio. I didn't ever remember seeing clouds form like that. They looked like little puffs of smoke.

This photo is wierd!! (To me!) The popcorn sky is most unusual. The darker clouds on the left do, indeed, look like columns of smoke.

Great capture.

Cal

Thanks, Cal. Yes, the photo is weird. The clouds were breaking up very quicklyand forming like this as we walked from the dog park. Almost like someone was spreading it out. It was the strangest thing.
