When you're at the beach, there's only ONE way for the sophistocated family to travel. Mom and Dad may be doing the pedaling, but it's clear who is in charge.

Nice shot. I'm not sure what you call those vehicles. They are very popular in the Oregon coastal town of Seaside and also at Walt Disney World in Florida.

40 years ago in the biggest caravan site in Europe at Porthcawl, South Wales, they were called 'social cycles'. They didn't often need the sunshade. The roof would have been useful to keep the rain off, but would usually have blown away.

selvin, my offspring I was visiting when I took the photo in this thread, willbejoining you in the islands this weekend. His wife has accepted a three-year assignment at Kaneohe Bay with a Marine helo squadron. (He'll be working as a civilian contractor with the same squadron.) Their belongings left Virginia a couple of weeks ago. They've both just started in digital photography, and I hope his wife will start posting in this forum.
