Following up on the discussion of the "Ducks" in Tullio's London thread, I went out today and, in a very short time, counted more than a dozen of them on the streets of Hot Springs, despite the 1999 sinking of one in which 13 people died. I had pulled into a parking lot to shoot lake traffic for the Transportation thread when I head a loudspeaker behind me. I turned around to see a Duck headed down to its launching ramp. (I hadn't realized they had moved their launching point.)

In less than a minute, the duck had become a boat and was off on its sightseeing excursion.

Nice shots Troj! Someday, I must ride one of those--probably the one in Seattle.

Nice shots! I remember riding one of these at the Wisconsin Dells when I was a kid, it was quite a thrill going from land into the water.
