After the CSX train derailment last winter the governor flew in on a National Guard helicopter and landed in a field just down the street. I got this shot from my front yard at 200mm.

I agree with Mcliu, those lines look awfully close to the bird. I realzie telephoto lens do distort reality but still.

Nice shot. Although, those wires do make me wince.

We can always tell when Bush is going to be up in Kennebunk as we have helicopters flying overhead for about an hour before hand. We must be in the flight path.

It's not an illusion, he's surrounded by wires on three sides.

Those helo pilots have to be really skilled (and dumb!) to land in a situation like that.
