http://forums.steves-digicams.com/fo...mp;forum_id=85

It goes to a message in the close-up board.

You should have addressed this to James Houston. Just tell him Houston we have a problem.

If you can cite some specific examples, I will notify JimC.

I thought I had something like this happen the other day, but wondered if I'd imagined it, and couldn't reproduce it. So you are not alone, novice_photographer.

I have had instances recently when Steve's Forums' 'search' function has taken me somewhere quite unexpected (and not the old colour scheme, as often happens) when I've clicked on a link. I'll pay more attention & report to the powers that be if it recurs.

I've also had several instances where topics have mysteriously got marked as 'read' when I haven't seen them yet. This is difficult to prove and impossible to report, because it can only be observed once.

There are some problems in the forum database and JimC is working on it as he has time. He has located all the missing posts that disappeared a couple months ago but has not been able to restore the links, yet. Jim has a lot on his plate and the database problems have kind of taken a back seat. Please be patient.

No rush. We can all just take a relaxing look at Walter's fence.
