Alan,

While the second shot does have its own merit, I prefer the first because of the contrast with the newer boats.

Good work. Yes, those pesky birds never do what we want just what they want. How unsportmanlike can you become!

Although I agree the first shot is an excellent show of contrasts, the second is a great study in decay and aging. Good work on both.

I, too, prefer the 2nd shot. The other boats in the 1st shot are somewhat distracting. Very nice.
