I am reminded of MacArthur's "old soldiers never die, they just fade away."

Well, that old soldier is not fading very fast and doesn't appear to be very old. I would say 1960-1980 vintage. However, in this case, the tires are not aging too well. I wonder if the truck was left here following an accident??

Where the heck is that? I've seen a few like it way back in the woods with trees growing up through them. I can't imagine one left on it's side out in the open. It looks like somebody mows around it. Looks like it's a 1960 Fleetside.

I have no idea how or why that old truck got on its side. It has been setting in that field for years. We did have big storm roll though last week, but it wasnt that big.
