I was driving past the entrance to a small trailer park and I noticed these wagon wheels sunk into the ground as decorations. Some of them were in pretty bad shape.

I'm not sure what to think about these since they are antique wagon wheels used in a commercial advertising application. The condition of the wheels could be natural delapidation and some of it could be vandalism or the result of accidental impacts from bicycles, skateboards, etc. Since Selvin is not available this weekend for comment, I am going to say iffy but OK.

It looks like there is a lot of decay especially in the second wheel. It's not my call but they look dilapidated to me.

Thank you both for the comments.

I suppose what Cal said is true. I didn't even think that some of the damage in the first shot could have been caused by people. I guess what fooled me was the fact that the wagon wheels are in such stark contrast to the rest of the park. All of the trailers are nice looking and the grounds are clean and well maintained

Well, for what it's worth, I think they were dilapidated to start with, they fortunately found a good home, and they'll continue to dilapidate gracefully, with plenty of folk appreciating them. That's why they were put there.

While there is some damage due to falling tourists, the rotting wood certainly cannot be attributed to the tourists.

I would give them a thumbs-up.

Nice work.
